Court Hearings 2002 Patricia filed for Divorce in February of 2002. Between her filing and our Final Decree in December of 2004 we averaged a hearing a month. We spent time in Family Court, Domestic Violence, Civil, Bankruptcy and finally Criminal. The majority of hearings were recorded and are public record. November 7, 2002 The Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem began to express serious frustration with Patricia by August of 2002. She seemed to only communicate and listen to him when it suited her. He removed Glen from her home in August and I requested that the other two be removed in September. The situation became unmanageable and the GAL finally requested a hearing on the matter that occurred on November 7, 2002. It is not clear from the record, but Patricia did not attend the hearing. I began to pick up on a pattern among the attorneys, to include the GAL not to put the real mess on the record or to the judge. While I knew they talked to the judge when Patricia and I were not around, it became annoying to hear only a sanitized version of events. Given what is said here, I will tell listeners that this proved only the tip of the iceberg.
